‚Äč

I use a variety of soft tissue techniques to achieve the desired results; Swedish, Deep tissue, Medical, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Craniosacral, Sports, Lymphatic, Geriatric, Thai massage and more.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic type of massage modality that helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem. Deep tissue massage is great at breaking down scar tissue and getting your blood circulating. Although, it can leave you slightly sore for the next few days.

Medical

Medical Massage is prescribed and intended to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by a Physician. I can use a variety of modalities or techniques, but will focus the Medical Massage session on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis.

Lymphatic

Great for cleansing! It is a type of massage that encourages the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products (toxins) away from the tissues back toward the heart so your body can cleanse itself. Can be used to stimulate circulation, liquefy deposits of the layers of accumulation that is stagnant lymph, blood and debris.

Aroma Therapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for psychological and physical well-being. Essential oils are 50 to 70 times more powerful than herbs. I use them in my practice to have a more effective massage. I also do a clinical approach to essential oils using the AromaTouch technique developed by DoTerra. This experience helps with stress relief, immune support, inflammatory response and homeostasis.

Reflexology

Reflexology involves placing pressure on specific areas of the foot, in combination with massaging and stretching to improve health and well-being. If you haven’t experienced a reflexology session yet, you’ll be amazed at how relaxed and invigorated your whole body can become simply from working on the feet. Foot reflexology massage can also be therapeutic for those suffering from plantar fasciitis or ankle injuries.

Sports

Sports massage therapy is geared toward athletes of every kind, from world-class professionals to weekend joggers. Athletes have discovered that specially designed sports massage promotes flexibility, reduces fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries and prepares their body and mind for optimal performance.

Relaxation

If you’re feeling tense, overworked and under-appreciated, a relaxation massage can be a great way to get yourself back into a happier, more relaxed state. The benefits of massage are numerous, including lowering blood pressure, increasing circulation to tight areas, and creating an overall sense of well being.

Hot Stones

Hot stone massage therapy not only feels amazingly relaxing, it can also provide a host of other benefits associated with massage. The use of hot stones allows you to achieve a deeper level of relaxation as the stones serve as a grounding force that makes it difficult to stay stressed very long. Hot stone massage has a calming effect that relieves pain, reduces stress and promotes deep relaxation.

MyoZen Therapy

MyoZen Therapy is a comprehensive proven method developed by Margie Meshew over 20 years ago. It is based on both western and eastern medical massage incorporating components of neuromuscular, myofascial and acupressure point therapy. It utilizes biomechanical techniques from an ancient eastern healing massage that allow the therapist to target specific areas, for maximum results with minimal effort.

Abdominal

Abdominal massage helps to release physical and emotional congestion from the abdomen and pelvic bowl. This, in turn, improves the flow of energy and fluids of the circulatory, lymphatic and nervous systems and prevents the progression of chronic disease.
